Snot season is upon ussss! 😅
As the temps start dropping and sniffles start spreading, I wanted to put out a little PSA for all my amazing families before your upcoming sessions. Please, please take a quick moment before we start to make sure those sweet little faces are clean — no snot, no crust, no leftover snack evidence!
I promise, I love editing and I know retouching is part of the job. But here’s a little behind-the-scenes visual for you: if I take 100+ photos and you receive 30 final edits, that means I’ve gone in and manually removed boogers from 30 different images. 😭 Multiply that by a few sessions, and it becomes a serious time-eater — especially when it’s something that’s totally preventable!
So before we start snapping those precious smiles, do a quick face check! A baby wipe, tissue, or napkin can go a long way. I usually keep a pack of wipes in my camera bag just in case (they are lifesavers!). And if I happen to be without them… well, y’all already know I’ll resort to using my sleeve if I have to. 😂
